Disney’s Boardwalk

The Boardwalk Resort stirs up memories of the old-fashioned seaside retreat.  It includes a boardwalk (of course) that takes you along the beautiful water, and is within walking distance from both EPCOT and MGM.  The rooms are decorated in soft pastels with many blues to compliment the water views.  You will see seagulls flying overhead and smell popcorn and cotton candy as you walk along the boardwalk.  Don't forget to ride the slide at the pool!!!

Pirate & Princess Party

Close your eyes just for a second and imagine walking down Main Street USA, up toward Cinderella’s castle in your most beautiful flowing dress with a tiara placed delicately on your head.  Imagine for one day, truly feeling like a Disney princess….even at the age of 27!!!  And now imagine Captain Eric Sparrow walking beside you, every bit a pirate!!

The Magic of Disney to Me

The pure innocence and lack of inhibition of childhood is something that seems to escape us more and more with each year of “growing up”.  Lines that were never visible before seem to appear between us based on our age, race, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status and many other factors that are drawn for us by society.  No matter how much I told myself that I was never going to grow up…it seems that it was inevitable.  The stress of finances, expectations, the unknown….all of these worries seems to jump on your back as you get older.  Ahhhh to step back in time just for a second would be such a journey.  On my most recent trip to Disney World this past weekend I felt like I stepped back in time to 1986- to my very first trip to Disney World EVER!!
